Advocacy and Wrap Around Services
Our advocacy begins by listening—honoring a community member's wisdom and survival. Through support, co-advocacy, and wraparound services, we move alongside individuals as they navigate systems, access resources, and make choices rooted in safety and dignity. This work is a reflection of solidarity, centering healing, wellness, and justice while challenging and uprooting harmful systems that silence.

Housing Support
Healing, Opportunity, Mobility, Engagement (H.O.M.E)
Through our H.O.M.E. program, we use a survivor-led, trauma-informed approach to navigate housing options, remove barriers, and secure safe living situations that support healing and independence. Our scattered-site model supports individuals and families in building long-term stability.

Food Access, Shared Care
Together We Rise
Through our partnership with Hope Fridge—a mutual aid project—a community fridge is available just behind the People of Progression offices. Rooted in the belief that everyone deserves nourishment, this space makes fresh food accessible to all.
Community in Action
The fridge operates with the simple principle: take what you need, leave what you can. It is open 24/7/365 at 332 Broad Street, Menasha, WI 54952. No appointment is ever needed, and all are welcome.

Supportive Spaces & Healing Circles
None of us is meant to carry everything alone. In a world where identity, lived experiences, and the weight on our shoulders are often challenged or misunderstood, People of Progression creates space to gather, share, and be held in community.
We provide a range of support groups to connect with others who understand. Visit our calendar to stay up to date on upcoming groups and opportunities to join.

Maternal Health
At People of Progression, we support Black birthing people and families through every stage of the journey. Our maternal health program offers perinatal workshops, referrals to Black doulas, and nesting support that extends through a child’s first five years. Grounded in culture and community, these services nurture wellness, strengthen family bonds, and create spaces where mothers, children, and caregivers can truly thrive together.
Community Health and Systems Change
Thriving Neighbors, Thriving Kids is about shifting power into the hands of community members. This work creates space for neighbors to define what safety, wellness, and opportunity look like, and ensures those closest to the challenges are also closest to the solutions. By centering lived experience, we move beyond traditional systems to build health and healing rooted in community voice, dignity, and leadership.

Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Representation
Public health plans are community roadmaps for better population health. In the Fox Valley, the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) sets priorities like mental health, access to care, and equity. CHIP priorities guide programs and funding decisions that span several years.
Black organizations need to be part of the process, our voices—and our needs—can otherwise be overlooked. People of Progression has committed to participating in the conversation and giving voice to the unique health needs of our community. Having a seat at the table means sharing our experiences and shaping solutions that work for us.
